The first teaser trailer for Toy Story 5 landed recently, offering a glimpse into the plot but keeping fans wondering how it will address the ending of Toy Story 4. Bonnie's New Toy: A Digital Device Spooks the Toys In the teaser shows Bonnie — who received the toy collection when he left for college — getting a latest toy, one that alarms the familiar toy group. She gets her first tablet computer, and she is excited about it. Presumably, the amphibian-inspired device will come to life just like Bonnie's other toys. Still, the toys seem to view it as a danger coming to replace them, which it likely will. Woody's Return: Mysteries from Toy Story 4 One thing the teaser avoids is what Woody is returned with his friends in Bonnie's room. The finale of Toy Story 4 saw him embark on a new adventure with the shepherdess (Annie Potts), traveling with a carnival and assisting prize toys find good homes. Certainly, Pixar will address the consequences of Toy Story 4 in the film. Witnessing him appear in the familiar setting without warning is a little strange, however.
